We start by probing deeper into these objectives and goals, in order to understand all aspects and to make sure that your Kiosk Initiative is oriented towards these objectives. Simple goals like “we want to increase sales” can be broken down further into: providing incremental sales, reducing customer wait times, providing a better customer experience, providing extended hours, allowing for consistent up-sells/cross-sells, allowing for language variants, expanding customer loyalty and encouraging repeated use. The end result will be to “increase sales”, however, an important by-product will be providing an improved customer experience...so all parties win. Vertical Alliance provides clients with the navigational tools/advice such that they can make the right selections and set realistic goals, while at the same time avoiding common assumptions and mis-steps. We act first as a Consultant/Advisor and then, as needed, as a System Integrator to make sure that the project is properly managed and executed. We employ “Best Kiosk Practices” based on proven industry standards and first-hand experience. Typically, we assist in managing the project such that the “Total Cost of Ownership” is lower (we only use proven partners), the mistakes are minimal (we know where most of the potholes are) and the time to market is quicker (we have done this before). At the same time, we strive to maximize the return on your investment by making suggestions/recommendations that may not normally be considered. The end result is that Vertical Alliance provides our clients with a set of services/products/management that will ensure their Kiosk Initiative is successful. |
